Arkansas' Mulberry River, A National Wild and Scenic River

$16.95

Arkansas’ Mulberry River, A National Wild & Scenic River

Created out of our love for this very special river, this map started our Backcountry Maps Series. Now we are proud to introduce the second version of this map with many updates and our new rebranded cover. It will guide you down ~50 river miles from Wolf Pen Campground to Mills River access points. This map also includes ~40 trail miles of the Ozark Highlands Trail (OHT) and an additional 21 side/spur trail miles.

The Mighty Mulberry River is generally considered a class II+ whitewater river. And with nominal boat control, it can be paddled by most. Like many streams in the Ozarks it consists of a pool-drop morphology. The pools are separated by either shoals or rapids, and our map will show you which ones to expect. Within the coverage area, you’ll also find recreational opportunities in the Ozark National Forest and its Special Interest Areas: Fern Gully, Hare Mountain, and White Rock.
